These two puzzles have just been sent by e-mail to me:-
1)Count every "F" in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...

How many f's are there? Three? Four?
There are actually six -- go back and try to find the six F's before you look down.

The brain cannot process "OF" - if you check it now it's easy to see!

Also said to be from “Cambridge University”

Fort Walk
10 August 2006 14:14

StHelensFortWalk199.jpg

The annual walk to the fort is due tomorrow Friday 11th August 2006. The Fort situated in the Solent just off Bembridge & St Helens is accessible by foot on a very low tide a few times a year; you walk along a shingle causeway leading from Bembridge (starting by Ducie Avenue). Last year about 3000 people went on the walk.

No one is responsible for this meet, its only arranged by word of mouth throughout the Bembridge area – for this reason there are no organizers, you go purely at your own risk. You also must be fit to walk a few miles at a good rate.

Low tide is at 19.07 Hrs. You mustn’t try to go to the Fort too late – you can get cut off.

It's a really good to go - we have been twice - well worth a visit, make sure you always wear shoes as you have to walk on a lot of gravel & there are sometimes weaver fish lurking under the sand.
