Just been to Ventnor (on the sunny Isle of Wight) & been advised that one of the larger Island Agents is telling their clients that they can’t move to another agent as the HIP would need updating & it would cost them more money.

This is totally not the case – the HIP does not need updating however old it is & is fully transferable!
