Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor Isle of Wight
The seaside towns of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are one of the Island's main holiday destinations. Long sandy beaches, ample accommodation and entertainment combined with a mild climate, make the south east shore of the Isle of Wight a great place to live as well as visit.
Shanklin Old Village provides picturesque cottages centred around the thatched Crab Inn. Shanklin Chine features a 45ft waterfall tumbling down to the shore and the Chine Heritage Centre features an exhibition about PLUTO the PipeLine Under The Ocean.
Ventnor was originally a Victorian health resort but now like Sandown and Shanklin is a popular tourist destination. Famous for its mild climate the 22 acres of Ventnor Botanic Gardens feature a huge selection of Mediterranean plants.
